Animal Care Centers - History
- Founded in 1977 by Dr. Ron Preissinger as a mixed animal practice.
- HCAC purchased by Dr. Scott Myers in May, 1990
- HCAC became an exclusive small animal practice (dogs/cats only) about 1995
- Kathi Myers joined HCAC and became Hospital Administrator in 1997
- Phase I completed for new HCAC building in May, 1997
- Kathi Myers developed concept for pet resort/boutique in Spring, 1998
- Phase II – Purrfect Paws Pet Resort – completed in Fall, 1999.
- November, 2002 – Don & Nancy Miller took ownership
