Who are Animal Care Centers of Texas?

In November 2005, Animal Medical Clinic and Hood County Animal Clinic merged two separate business entities to become one owned by the same people, Dr. Don and Mrs. Nancy Miller.

When choosing a course of action for serving our pet owning community better, merging these two veterinary hospitals seemed to be a natural progression. Both of these hospitals already believed in the same principles, shared the same vision for the future and practiced the same quality level of care that the community has come to depend on. Most importantly, we also shared in the belief that for our clients, their pets are part of their family and that they desire the very best in veterinary care. Both locations of Animal Care Centers (ACC, for short) are here to support, educate and be your partner in healthcare throughout your pet’s life.

ACC hopes that the pet owners within the Granbury community will find it beneficial to them to have two locations of the same high quality veterinary practice available to serve them. Our doctors and support staff are a winning combination of knowledgeable, compassionate and professional people. Several of our practice team members are active in the national veterinary community and our team accesses continuing education at every possible opportunity. As a matter of fact, both of our locations are closed each Tuesday from 11:30 – 2:00 to enable us to meet as one and perform team training and continuing education on a weekly basis. We know how rapidly veterinary medicine is changing and we know that we must dedicate this valuable time to better ourselves, which in turn, will enable us to better serve and care for you and your pets.

Although these hospitals have two separate buildings, we are making great strides to incorporate the best of both of these practices to make us one family. Through the coming months you will see changes (like our new name) that will continue to move us in a positive direction towards this goal. We appreciate the support, friendship and trust from all of our valued clients during this time of positive change and growth.

It has been and will continue to be an exciting venture to combine the resources of these once separate entities. By doing so it will enable us to remain on the cutting edge of the ever-changing field of veterinary medicine. We feel that you will see a difference at our practices.

Why, you ask?

Because we are different.

Why are we different?

Because we choose to be.
